Last night I got to enjoy going to a gig. It doesn’t happen very often which is a shame. I know that I work in a venue but there is a huge difference to working, and doing sound at a show, to just being able to relax and enjoy music and hang out with friends. It was a lovely night and a perfect night away from sound desks and mics.
The gig was Dad Rocks at Olives cafe. Support came from Shoes and Sock Off and Sam James Hill. Dad Rocks is my friend Snaevar from Denmark. He played an amazing show to a intimate and brilliant crowd. He released his new album this week and has been on a ten date UK tour to celebrate. Click the picture above to have a listen and see what I’m ranting on about. Also he’s a demon on the guitar.
Also love to Toby (shoes and socks off) seen him twice this year and its always a pleasure. And as always Sam was brilliant, with his tiny guitar.
Thanks also to Faux Pas Promotions for putting the show on.
